ChecklistFox ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Tayyaba and Usama. We built this tool to help people create and download checklists. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Email address - when you enter your email to download a PDF, we store it so we can send you updates about ChecklistFox (if you opt in) and improve our service.
  • Checklist content - prompts you type and checklists you create may be processed by our AI provider to generate results. We do not sell your checklist content.
  • Usage data - we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, general location, device type). This helps us improve the product.
  • Local storage - your edited checklists and progress are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. We do not automatically sync this to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it.

How we use your information

  • To generate and deliver checklist PDFs
  • To operate, maintain, and improve ChecklistFox
  • To send occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns via analytics

Third-party services

We use trusted third parties to run ChecklistFox:

  • Cloudflare - hosting and content delivery
  • Google Analytics - anonymous usage statistics
  • AI providers - to generate checklist content from your prompts

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

Data retention

Email addresses collected for PDF downloads are retained until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings. Checklist data stored in your browser remains on your device until you clear it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can clear locally saved checklists anytime by clearing your browser's site data for checklistfox.com.

Children

ChecklistFox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
